I am happy to work with minors of all ages from newborns to young adults.

For your piece of mind I am CRB checked to enhanced level, for working with children, including 'special' children. Even at a wedding with all the children that are usually there I'd recommend using a CRB checked photographer.

Please note however when working with any persons under 16, I have to insist that an adult, preferably a close relation or guardian is present.

Photographing children is a special skill all in itself, and children like adults have their own personalities. Whilst some children love to play up to the camera, others are very reluctant to do so, and this is again where the skill of a portrait photographer comes into its own. I operate a very relaxed atmosphere anyway, but If I have to play the fool to get a child to smile, then so be it! The final result, that lovely photo hanging on your wall is all that matters.
